Game Server NQC: Special settings #1

The server team has decided to throw in periodically, for one day at the time, different gameplay settings on the NQC server to shake things up a bit. Please leave your feedback and suggestions here.

Today: No class limits

The frequency at which we will be doing those will depend on how often we can come up with ideas. But it's always going to be one day at the time, though not always at this time of the week.

Suggestion: Unlimited airstrikes and arty (As fast as they can get there special bar up), but with ONE field ops per team. I played like that with some server, and it was super fun. Like, the airstrikes is what you think, you could get like or or 2 off quick. The arty though, is different. It's not like you arty in point a and then in point b and it arties both, but just arties the one you spotted second.

Just my suggestion. It was kind of fun, because it made the gameplay more dynamic.

as a suggestion how about Every class can pick up every item.

A medic with Venom/panzer sounds tempting.

1. How about a day with no panzer, flamer, or venom.

2. No adren.

3. No adren for soldiers.

4. Reduced soldier settings. I think it's ridiculous that a flamer or venom gunner can chase down anybody with such heavy weapons. Reduce their speed to normal heavy toting beasts.

1. Covert ops who can go disguise by taking any weapon

2. Medic with panza or flamer as tush said

3. unlimited arty with out like all available plans are enroute OR insufficeint fire effect

And then repeat.

When there will be no-adren day, I'll find time to join server for sure.

Another idea.
Day of non rambo medics.
All classes exept medics can wear only venom + adren rush and his default class items. Medics can wear only pistols and knife.
It will be great.

Could I suggest trying some changes that might be implemented permanently? Basically, I see this as a chance to use NQC to test settings, and determine their popularity so that they may be made into long term changes on both NQC and NQB. Unless that is already a part of the purpose of this. Then I am wasting my breath lol

An example of what I am thinking:
No adren for Medics -> this was discussed before, as a permanent change (IIRC) but was never implemented since it might have had a negative effect on server population. This could be a chance to try it.

That sounds great stick... Killing rambo medics + adren on top of that.. impossible

I am with that suggestion! (And the one that you can pick up any weapon regardless of what class you are. That is awesome.)

It will most likely have no visible effect for one day.

custom sounds? theme settings? like the simpsons day lol with all the homer dynos and sound effects?
